REMINISCENCE
G.S the name synonymous
with Indian Automotive Components industry,
began Its journey
in the year 1938.
A needy humble boy [the
founder and later to known as BABA GURMUKH SINGH JI), devoid of
parental love and education, at an age of 12 years, began his life as a
apprentice in a smithy shop in his native village near MACHIWARA. He returned
to Ludhiana before partition and began his livelihood by manufacturing
Bicycle components and later on automotive components of imported vehicles
, as an import substitute.
