As
per studies funded by Tea Trade Health ResearchAssociation
several doses of Black Tea everyday not only reduces plaque build up but
also helps control bacteria in teeth.
CHRISTINE WU, Professor
of periodontics at the University of lllinois and lead researches reiterates
that the black tea infusion can inhibit or supress the growth of bacteria
that promotes cavities and effect their ability to attach to tooth surfaces.
A specific element
of Black Tea called POLYPHENOLS, kills & supress cavity causing bacteria
from either growing or producing acid, according to WU, study.
The tea also affects
the bacterial enzymes and prevents the formation of sticky-like material
that binds plaque to teeth.
A similar study by
GOETEBORG University, where participants rinsed with tea for one minute
10 times per day showed comparable results. Both the studies showed that
the more people rinsed the more their plaque and bacteria level fell.
Tea also contains
TANIN ACIDwhich is harmful to digestion, THEIN which gives a feeling of
stimulation and satisfaction, and volatile oil which causes lack of sleep.
Strong Tea/Dust Tea
contains more quantity of TANNIN acid, which is harmful to health. Hence,
use use of strong tea is not recommended. The more we boil Tea, the more
tannin Acid is dissolved which is harmful to health, and to counter its
bad effects on health, enough quantity of sugar and milk should be added.
Keeping in view of
the above studies and factors,"SAHIB TEA" is blended in such a way that
u is neither too strong nor too mild, it is rich in flavour and taste,
and reduces the chances of having more Tannin Acid and its side -effects.
Hence, it has verylittle negative effects on digestion and sleeping habits
in comparison to other strong tea.
